Maria Parham Health

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physiciansand nurse practitioners with patient care, clerical, environmental andorganizational tasks. S/he will be responsible for filing reports and otherdocuments in the medical chart and for overall chart management. The MedicalAssistant will also be responsible for calling patients about test results andfollowing up patient calls as well as sending out timely reminders to patientsfor exams and procedures. The Medical Assistant provides information topatients so they may fully utilize and benefit from our medical services.


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college is preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification is required.
  • 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Must maintain CPR
